This is the debut release from the Minneapolis-based band Leisure Birds. It's nine solid songs, rich with guitar flourish and tamborine textures that flow from start to finish with grace and ease. This record's eerie vibe will captivate you whether you are alone in your car, or in the late night hours out living life with your friends. A simple genre tag would lean towards psych-rock, but it's more lush than that. It does draw you to a different time, but it's unclear whether it's the past, or the future. The record comes packaged in a full-color 12" LP jacket, with a download code included for high-quality digital formats. Artwork throughout was designed by Lisa Luck, with typographic work by Loren Smith.
